Information for authors
Contributions written in English are being issued. All contributions, except for book reviews, are reviewed in an anonymous reviewing procedure by the Editor in Chief and selected members of the Editorial Board.
The editorial board consists of the Editor in Chief and members of the Editorial Board.
The submitted text has to fulfil the formal requirements (Style sheet)
The scientific journal is issued regularly two times a year.
The authors of the contributions declare that their texts are original.
The authors of the texts, which were accepted for publication, agree that their texts are going to be provided for online release on the website of the scientific journal about EU and EU law.
The Editor in Chief decides about the reviewers. The author and the reviewers of the article remain in an anonymous relationship.
The authors of the article obtains a notification about publication/non-publication generally within 1 month from the day of the delivery.
Excellence is a necessary condition for publication.
The EU Law Journal maintains a standard double-blind peer review process. The double-blind process means that the author does not know the reviewer's identity, nor does the reviewer know the name of the author or other reviewer. Two independent reviews are required for each manuscript. Sending a manuscript indicates an understanding that it is not actively under consideration for publication with other journals.
The Editor in Chief has the right to refuse an article, if the editorial board decides that it does not fulfill the criteria required for scientific and academic articles or it does not match with the profile of EU and EU law.
When authors discover errors or inaccuracies in their text, it is their obligation to promptly notify the editors and cooperate with them to either correct the paper in the form of an erratum or to retract the paper. In cases of alleged or proven scientific misconduct, fraudulent publication or plagiarism, the publisher, in collaboration with the editors, will take all appropriate measures to clarify the situation and to amend the text.
The publisher enables the authors to publish their work in the scientific journal about EU and EU law. Based on this the authors in accordance with Act. 618/2003 Coll. on copyright and rights related to copyright (Copyright Act) waive their right to receive royalties.
